Overview
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is the sole indexed supplement for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (1 study; DEX Score 40; low effect size, low evidence, low trust). HHT is characterized by recurrent nosebleeds, which was the main outcome in the available trial.
One small study found taking NAC three times daily for 12 weeks lowered daytime nosebleeds but did not affect nosebleeds at night.
