Trachoma

Overview

Berberine eye drops are the only supplement studied for trachoma, an eye infection that can cause blindness, with four early trials. Using berberine drops several times daily for a few weeks might be helpful, though it remains uncertain whether they effectively treat trachoma or prevent its complications.
