Nocturnal enuresis

Supplements studied for nocturnal enuresis.

Overview

Melatonin is the only supplement listed for nocturnal enuresis, with low-strength evidence from one study. Taking 5 mg nightly for three months did not reduce bedwetting in children compared with placebo.

With a single negative trial and low ratings across effect size, evidence, and trust, melatonin does not appear supported for bedwetting based on current data. Additional studies would be needed to reassess.

The heatmap and evidence reviews below provide trial detail.
