What is lutein?

Lutein is a carotenoid. It is synthesised by plants and found in high concentrations in many leafy green vegetables including kale and spinach. The structure of lutein is similar to zeaxanthin.

Dosage

A typical dose of lutein is 10-20 mg per day.
