What is flaxseed?

Flaxseeds are the seeds of the Linum usitatissimum plant. Flaxseeds are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, vitamins and protein.

Dosage

A typical dose of whole or ground flaxseed is 10 to 60 grams per day.
