Privacy Policy

SupplementDEX (“we”, “us”) operates SupplementDEX (https://supplementdex.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (stored in hashed form by our auth provider). You may optionally update profile details linked to your account.

Subscription and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, plan tier, billing interval, and renewal dates. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Usage and technical data

We may collect standard log and device data (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps) to operate, secure, and improve the service. Hosting providers may process this data on our behalf.

2. How we use information

  • Provide and maintain your account and subscription access.
  • Process payments and send billing-related communications.
  • Respond to support requests and service notices.
  • Monitor security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
  • Improve content, features, and reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run SupplementDEX, including:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing and customer billing portal.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

These providers process data only as needed to perform services for us and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions, security, and preferences (such as theme). You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent sign-in or paid feature access.

5. Retention

We retain account and subscription records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution requirements. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level database security. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@supplementdex.com.

Australian users may also contact us regarding privacy concerns. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

SupplementDEX is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material updates may be communicated by email or in-product notice.
